All profits from this shop go to Jewish organisations in Australia.

About us

We're Maayan and Chen, two Israelis who moved to Perth, Western Australia. Since then we've been writing train2aus.com, a Hebrew blog for people moving to Australia: visas, jobs, housing, and everything nobody tells you before you land.

Why a dictionary

The first thing Australia hits you with isn't the heat or the spiders. It's the language. "No worries", "heaps good", "she'll be right": we nodded along for months without understanding. So for the blog's first anniversary we put together the Australian-Hebrew Dictionary: nine Aussie phrases, each defined in Hebrew the way a real dictionary would, printed on tees, kids' tees and sweatshirts.

How it's made

Every item is printed after you order it, by our print partner in Brisbane, and posted straight to you. There's no warehouse and no leftover stock. Delivery times and returns are explained in the shipping policy and the refund policy.

Where the money goes

We don't keep the profit. Every sale sends its profit to Jewish organisations in Australia, starting with The Holocaust Institute WA. We'll share each donation on the blog once it's made.

Who you're dealing with

Train2Aus is run by Maayan and Chen, a registered Australian business (ABN 40 351 192 374) based in Perth, Western Australia. It's just the two of us, and we answer every email ourselves: train2aus@gmail.com.
